I passed a woman on Sunday afternoon who told her date that she was "a classy lady" and nearly choked on my chai tea. Too many people use "classy" and "snob" incorrectly, so let me help you all out: The term "classy" is used to describe another, not yourself. A snob is a complete social-climber who looks down on others while pretending to have the same social and financial status as those who they aspire to be.
