I felt compelled to write this when I noticed that most statements made by others regarding "making the most of each day", etc. don't seem to be put into action enough. Don't just talk the talk, walk the walk!
Positivity can be found everywhere, though sometimes you may feel like you have to look for it first. If you are making each day count, then why the bad days? It isn't about what happens to you, it's how you react that makes all the difference. Be open and honest, show gratitude and have fun! That "right moment" you are waiting for may never happen, so ignore what "everyone else" thinks and follow your heart.
Vulnerability isn't as scary when you are mature enough to handle it, you just have to step out of your comfort zone and really open up. Accept rewards as well as rejection by respecting the opinions and feelings of others, those who give you what you really deserve are the ones worth your time, anyways! When you assume, you make an "ass" out of "you" and "me", so assuming that others feel the same way you do all the time makes you a real asshole.

Happiness is always a choice, and being yourself is ultimately the best decision that you can make. Differences in what we wear, the music we listen to, who we choose to be with, etc. is all part of what makes this world so interesting, whether it be culture-to-culture and friend-to-friend. Enjoying the company of another doesn't always point to love, but it does mean that you accept each other's similarities and differences, and the seriousness of that depends on the depth of mutual respect and chemistry.
Instead of focusing on what you don't have, appreciate what you do have with respect and love for both yourself and those who appreciate you for who you are as an individual, not just who you are on the outside. Embrace your uniqueness, take risks, and remember that you've been granted another day of life for a reason, so don't be a waste of time!
